Who I Have Worked With
My Clients
I have been so lucky to work with some of the most wonderful people. From total beginners to platinum selling artists and experienced big screen actors, at Rockit Vocal Studios, I welcome singers of all levels and ages. Rockit clients are why I teach, not just who I teach. Whether you are heading for a lesson for the first time, or heading to a recording studio to work on your new album, I can help you achieve your vocal goals.

I take great pride in seeing the successes of my students. I define success in many ways. It may be the ability confidently use their instrument, and to know they can trust techniques that will give them strength and stamina for demanding tour schedules or studio performance expectations. Success may also mean to simply sing a song for the first time with confidence and ease.
I am grateful to work with anyone who wants to learn more about their voice and take the time to learn how to effectively and safely get the most from their instrument whether it is to achieve personal or professional goals.
Below is a cross section to give you an example of the wonderful people I work with currently or in the past,
spanning different genres & levels of experience.
Jess Moskaluke
Internationally celebrated artist, Jess Moskaluke continues to break barriers in the country music world with her big voice, pop-infused hooks and sonic versatility. The first Canadian female country artist since Shania Twain to achieve CRIA Platinum single status with the hit ‘Cheap Wine and Cigarettes’, Moskaluke has since gone on to earn CRIA Gold certifications for ‘Take Me Home’, ‘Kiss Me Quiet’ and a nod for her feature on Paul Brandt’s ‘I’m An Open Road’.
She was also notably the first Canadian female country artist since 2008 to have a song in the Top 3 with ‘Drive Me Away’, and has notched another SIX Top 10 hits in addition to that including her first ever NUMBER ONE ’Country Girls’. The 2017 JUNO Award winner for ‘Country Album of the Year’, Moskaluke is also the 2018 CCMA Award winner for ‘Album of the Year’, a three-time consecutive CCMA ‘Female Artist of the Year’ Award winner – the first resident of Saskatchewan in the history of the awards to achieve this title – a 2017 SOCAN Award winner and recently took home the 2020 WCM Award for ‘Country Artist of the Year’.

Kicking off 2020 with ‘Country Girls’ topping the charts, Moskaluke’s follow-up track ‘Halfway Home’ landed in the Top 5 at Australian country radio, where in 2019, she played the C2C Music Festival and took part in CMC’s ‘Songs and Stories’ series, performing six songs for a one-hour special. She delivered her Top 15 single ‘Mapdot’, a personal ode to small-town pride and the place she’s proud to call home, ahead of the release of The Demos in February, and her current Top 40 track ‘Nothin’ I Don’t Love About You’ continues to rise at Canadian Country radio.
Brayden Lowe
Singer and musician Brayden Lowe is from Calgary, Alberta. Lowe is a versatile vocalist with a range and style that is inspired by the greats such as Otis Redding & Sam Cooke, with a modern feel that is reminiscent of early Usher or Justin Timberlake.

With a new album currently in the works, Lowe’s first formal release is a selection of Holiday Classics, " Songs For The Holidays" that truly reflect the spirit of the season.

“ I’ve always loved the traditional holiday classics and wanted to stay true to the feel and emotion they bring by compiling a stripped down ep that brings out the memories and special moments we all cherish this time of year”

With killer runs and a vast vocal range, Lowe has a natural feel for what brings out the best in a song & its lyrics. A trained vocalist, pianist and guitarist, Lowe is ready to start recording and releasing music that will bring a fresh sound and new perspective on what the Calgary & Canadian music scene has to offer.

“I want my work to reflect who I am as a singer and share my personality, I’m excited to start the journey with an incredible team of musicians from Canada and beyond to create that vision”

His first single, "Four Leaf Clover," made its way onto mainstream Canadian airwaves and up the charts in summer 2017 after garnering 2 million Spotify streams in Canada. It has also been remixed by internationally renowned DJ Benny Benassi.

Kyrsten Leigh
Kyrsten Leigh is a singer/songwriter from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
She always had a passion for singing, but when the itch to write her own material arose, everything changed. Kyrsten continued to hone her craft as a country artist and her songwriting shifted into full gear when songs started pouring out onto napkins, paper scraps, and, on a good day, the pages of her songbooks (her iPhone voice memo app is her new best friend). She would play guitar with raw fingers, and write until every pen ran out of ink.

Following months of pushing herself to her limits, Kyrsten decided it was time to seek out a vocal coach. She found a great one in Emma Harding at Rockit Vocal Studios.

“My songs were rising to a whole new level and my voice wasn’t quite meeting the expectations that they were bringing. It was like standing at a locked door that I was unable to open. Working with Emma gave me the key, and I was thrilled at how far my voice had come in just the first few weeks.”

Guy Desmarais
Guy is the front man of Calgary cover band Flatline Phoenix. Although singing since he was in diapers, Guy didn’t set foot on a stage until 1996 when he started his first band writing original music and then transitioning to covers. It was here he realized his love for stage performance and crowd interaction.
Having had no vocal training in the past though, Guy began looking for a vocal coach in 2016 to help with range and endurance and was very lucky to have found Emma who came highly recommended! Emma changed the way he thought about singing and with her knowledge and guidance, he was soon able to hit notes in his range that he hadn’t been able to even get close to in the past. Also, he was able to get through shows with no vocal fatigue and recovery time between shows drastically improved. Teaming up with Emma was one of the best investments Guy has made and looks forward to many more years of learning!
Flatliine Phoenix has been blessed to play some great establishments in the city and surrounding area such as King’s Head, Rose & Crown Calgary, Rose & Crown Banff, Brickwell Taphouse & Big Al’s to name a few.
